When graffiti spray-painted on the front wall of Christy Burke's pub suggests that it has become a hangout for a killer or killers, Father Brennan Burke, Christy's grandson, is asked to investigate. Although initially reluctant to probe into the lives of the pub's clientele, he finds he has little choice once a body is discovered and the property investigation becomes a murder inquiry.
