The heartwarming story of elderly Alvin Straight, who wants to make amends with his estranged brother who has suffered a debilitating stroke. He sets off on a six-week, 260-mile journey on his John Deere lawnmower, from Iowa to his brother's home in Wisconsin. Based on a true story, this motion picture was filmed along the actual route that Straight travelled in 1994.
