About

Talented carpenter Robert Bradley leaves the jarrow shipyards in 1913 for a better life in the country and a job in his uncle's furniture business. But he soon finds himself at odds with his God-fearing uncle, and his cousin Carrie is a teenage time bomb waiting to explode. For solace, he escapes to the grounds of a dilapidated country estate, where he meets the ethereal Millie Thorman, know locally as "The Moth."
