The Young Land: A sheriff tries to ensure a trial, not a lynching, for a malcontented drifter who kills a well-respected landowner. The Deadly Companions: Based on the novel of the same name by A. S. Fleischman, the film is about an ex-army soldier who accidentally kills a woman's son, and tries to make up for it by escorting the funeral procession through dangerous Indian territory. The Deadly Companions was Sam Peckinpah's motion picture directorial debut. Zorro: Alian Delon stars as the infamous Zorro! A newly arrived governor finds his province under the control of the corrupt Colonel Huerta. He secretly masquerades as Zorro, and joins the monk Francisco and the beautiful aristocrat Hortensia in their fight for justice against Huerta and his soldiers.
